Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Padang – Siberut – Mentawai Tribe

Morning: Journey begins from Muara Harbor, Padang City by fast ferry
Transit Stop: One-hour transit in Pokkai, northern part of Siberut Island
Lunch: Provided at a local restaurant during transit
Afternoon: Arrive in South Siberut, proceed directly to transit village near Siberut Harbor
Evening: Journey into the forest by road car to upstream rural village, continue trek to Mentawai tribe's home. Meet with shaman and Mentawai family

Days 2, 3, 4 & 5: Stay with the Mentawai Tribe in Remote Forest

Daily Life Immersion: Join or participate with the family in preparing meals and other cultural activities in your presence.
Traditional Mentawai Life Experience: During your stay, you'll experience authentic traditional Mentawai life including:
Ritual Preparations: Preparing magic leaves and herbs used by shamans for rituals
Food Preparation: Join family in preparing traditional meals using ancestral methods

Day 6: Farewell & Return Journey to Padang

Morning: Final breakfast and emotional farewells with the host family
Trek Return: Continue journey back to the riverbank with lasting memories
River Transport: Motorized canoe takes you back to transit village near Siberut Harbor
Final Preparations: Taken to Mentawai home to unpack, have lunch, and prepare for departure
Departure: Depart Siberut at 3:00 PM by fast ferry, returning to Padang with a transformed perspective on life
